ScanPlant NG Inventory Management handles all inbound and outbound warehouse movements. In addition to providing complete inventory control, the module can deliver stock status at any historical point in time with exceptional accuracy.

Inventory can be managed on multiple levels—such as room, row, shelf, pallet, box, and/or item—enabling precise location tracking of goods in storage.

The module supports inventory transactions across an unlimited number of departments or locations. Goods can be managed as individually identified items (e.g., pallet number, box number) or grouped under shared identities (e.g., product number, batch number).

It supports multi-dimensional location placement, including departments, rows, shelves, racks, and more.

ScanPlant NG Inventory Management displays both current and historical stock levels. Users can sort and filter search results, and all inventory reports can be exported to Excel, PDF, or Word. Key details such as filters, processing date, and report name are also included in exports for full traceability of exported data.

When integrated with ScanPlant NG Quality Management, items in inventory can be blocked and isolated until a decision is made whether to release or discard them.

ScanPlant NG Inventory Management supports various types of data entry and tracking methods, including:

• Manual input via touchscreen
• Barcode scanning (GS1, EAN, etc.)
• RFID
• PDA/Tablet

The system also offers FIFO (First In – First Out) functionality to ensure older products are used first, minimizing shelf time and reducing waste.
