Traceable calibration of scales and metal detectors
Calibration is a series of tests of the scale, determining how imprecise the weighing ability of the scale is. The calibration must be carried-out with weights, which are traceable and that identifies the tolerance of the equipment.
The calibration follows an approved procedure and is performed with weights that are traceable to known reference norms and standards from BIPM in Paris.
